DRILLING COMBOS

– Hand and foot coordination
– Economy of Energy and Motion
– Relaxed and Comfortable Posture
– Attack and Defense Optimization
– Strategic and Tactical Disposition

These combos are just examples. You can add your own style and your own combinations. Take what is useful and discard what is not. Keep it simple and always remember the basics.

As the attacker be careful with your partner. If you receive the combos, you can block the strikes or you can use punching mitts.

Get that flow going and stay alert.

CLINCHING

SETTING UP TAKEDOWNS

Mixing striking and grappling
– Use volume with your combos
– Use level change feints and strikes
– Manage the distance
– You can add chain wrestling
– Moderate the intensity

In order to land the takedown, you can hide it behind striking combos to make it more unpredictable. High-volume striking and changing levels during your combos can force the opponent to block the strikes instead of defending the takedown.
